Wild Fonts

Wild FontsDoes anyone know what fonts the Wild West wanted posters have been printed in?

Weeeeell, I guess it was the old block something, you know, the line of rubber stamps the letter on a form, then ink, then press the paper ... letters by hand or ...

There is a font called Phidias and another called Chorus Girl, both of which can be found in a class of display fonts produced by Victorian Dover Electronic Display Fonts for Macintosh and Windows. The Wild West was in the Victorian era, Victorian something also been used for printing at the time.

On the Macintosh operating system, I have a font called "Wanted" that resembles a search of the police (go figure!). Hope this helps.

The Great Western Fonts, sorry I just did .. Hadda:)
