Do you pay for advice when you dine in a restaurant in a Pei Wei? Are you expected? It seems more like a fast food restaurant, so I usually do not leave a tip. But I saw others doing it. Did you?
We did it once, the first time we ate there. Now we eat there probably once a month and never do. Sometimes you can see staff cleaning the tables, the dollars that remain on the table, they just stick to the door a few. I do not think you're supposed to tip there.
I'm not.
Nope (and I know people who work there).
Usually, I tip based on the number of people. If two people, I tip $ 2.00
No tip is necessary. After all, you get your own refills, silverware, napkins, etc. The service provides only food that is brought to your room (less than 40 feet away). Once you have food, you're on your own! In addition, staff earn full salary there. Delicious food!
No, this is not formal.
