Vegan Cookbook

Does anyone not a good or Vego vegan cookbook that I can buy for a 11 year old daughter for Christmas ?????

before someone has a go to let a little girl is vegan, she is my niece and comes from a houshold Vego. is her choice and she and her mother are very aware of receiving all required daily Vits, minutes and peoteins .... : -)

What a great gift! I am vegan and so are some of my favorites:

- "Vegan Lunch Box" by Jennifer McCann. This book is very oriented toward food that kids will enjoy and should give some good ideas about interesting food to school for lunch.

- "The Vegan Family Cookbook" by Chef Brian P. McCarthy. Equally oriented families making food that is kid-friendly. It offers very simple recipes, like the previous book.

- "Vegan with a Vengeance" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Not so much geared towards children, but it is a book full of good recipes! Everything I did this book was wonderful. He also has extensive information sections on cooking in general, and veganism. Very readable.

- "La Dolce Vegan! By Sarah Kramer. This book also has recipes incredible and has always been a reliable cookbook for me. There is a great recipe for vegan macaroni and cheese and your niece would probably love !

I think all these books would be relatively simple and easy to manage for a 11-years. The ingredients are fairly simple and the recipes are not too complicated for most. Good luck and I hope to pick one she loves!

"Raising Children Vegetarian" by Joanne Stepaniak and Vesanto Melina is mainly on nutritional considerations for children vegan, but it has recipes for both kid-friendly, but nutrition-packed food.

Someone spoke of "Vegan with a Vengeance", which is a GREAT cookbook. No, this is not directed towards children, in itself, but there are many delicious recipes, as well as delicious baked goods.

I heard good things about "Vegan Lunchbox.

Re "La Dolce Vegan": Sarah Kramer also co-author of two cookbooks with Tanya Barnard - "How It All Vegan! (Who has a section with recipes geared toward children) and" Garden of Vegan.

"Conveniently Vegan" by Debra Wasserman is not geared towards children, but it has some very simple recipes can help your niece to her mother.

I like the garden of vegan "where it all vegan" both by Sara Kramer. She rocks, there are tons of easy to read and understand receipts and plenty of advice in books on how to do ect crafts. would be really cool for a girl, its really too bright and colorful.
