Soft Drinks And Diabetes

Posted on January 23, 2010.
Soft Drinks And Diabetes Do you think that soft drinks are a major contributor to increasing obesity and diabetes?

I'm amazed How much sugar in a soda can --- much more than a box of candy or even a piece of cake. With Coke and Pepsi are mega-companies, it does not seem surprising that there is so much obesity and diabetes.
BTW, cinnamon and cinnamon suppliments significantly reduces sugar cravings. It helped me, a former candy addict, many things.

Yes, Americans drink 50% of our daily calories needed. Think how many calories you want to save if you had water for lunch and dinner, and not a soda or juice.

Yes, yes, yes, it is a major contribution to the health crisis today

Absolutely. People who drink pop between meals to keep their high levels of insulin, which probably increases insulin resistance

Yes. because when people drink it, they do not really see it as a contribution to their caloric intake.

Now they are trying to say things without calories makes you gain weight does not believe everything you hear!

Yes And do not forget to decay!

He did it because I know people who have completely or almost completely cut off from their diet soft drinks ... and therefore, they have lost up to 15 lbs ....

However, there are many reasons contributing to these factors beyond soft drinks as well ....

Soda is no more guilty than any other candy. Even if you cut the sodium in your diet there is so much more to be done ... cookies, cakes, donuts, ice cream, blah blah blah. People are always looking to blame someone other than themselves for a problem.

good call. People need to drink more water and less poop.

Soda has huge quantities of sugar, but diabetes is more complex than that. Usually it is a combination of many things that contribute to diabetes. you overload of sugar does not help. The exercise is the most important factor in preventing diabetes. Food is important, but means nothing if you are not physically active. People should be aware of all things containing sugar and carbohydrates that turn into sugar. Also note that metabolize carbohydrates more slowly, and are better for you. processed corn sugars, like soft drinks are the worst poison. Ice Cream died and the worst of all the things you can put in your body.

I wish they were not ... I love Coke! (

Absolutely. And it is interesting to know that Coca-Cola has sponsored walk to raise funds for diabetes.

"Once I saw Coca-Cola is sponsoring a race to raise money for diabetes. It's like having Hitler run the local celebration of Hanukkah. Mike Adams, Truth Publishing

Thank you for the advice of cinnamon!

When I was in Weight Watchers, we went by points. soda amounted to zero points. However, I think it is better without soda at all.

Sodas High Frutos corn syrup are the leading cause of obesity today. Not only are they empty calories, fructose is more readily converted to fat than sucrose.

With 220-250 calories per can of soda it is not necessary to ask the question. Water is a good replacement.

I say most people eat and drink too much, because they can not say no to supersizing. These companies happy to sell you more than u need to maximize their profits. Just start to say NO and you are knowing the limits.

Certainly. Soft drinks are the source of many terrible diseases.
