Can I glaze a ham-smoked walnut with skin left on it? It is a semi-boneless and fully cooked. I need for Christmas day and I basically want to make it a bit special. :)
Thank you!
Yes, you can leave the skin ... I make small slits in the skin and insert cloves so it absorbs the polish ... works well for me ...=)
Yes you can glaze the ham,. Preheat oven to 325 *. Line a loaf pan with foil and pour 1 PC of pineapple juice in the bottom of things. Place ham in pan, flat side down - Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes for each pound of ham.
When he has 20 minutes to go and remove from oven, remove the foil. In a bowl, combine the glaze sm packages with half pineapple juice cp (or 1 / 2 cp juices). Pour this over the ham and return to oven, bake additional 30 minutes. Mmmmmm delicious!
