Seafood Cholesterol

Posted on March 21, 2010.
Seafood CholesterolHow much fat and cholesterol does seafood have?

I'm looking mainly for shrimp and flounder, but another guy is great too.

It depends - most of the fish is a lot more omega three in which lowers cholesterol, on the other - crab and shrimp is very high in cholesterol.

Cholesterol levels in crustaceans like crab and lobster are similar to those found in dark meat chicken. Report Abuse

Shrimp Hi, lo-fat.

Seafood mostly low in cholesterol, they are rich in minerals.

Do a Google search for Calorie King to know. In addition, it would be much higher in fat if you use butter.

Seafood is low in fat and Cholestrol but watch out for fatty fish like mackerel and sardines are high in Cholestrol but are still very good for you.
