Does anyone know of a fish and chips good restaurants in San Diego? I want to walk around the port of San Diego and make good fish and chips (seafood restaurants Discount) something where u can eat outside and walk around and look in the stores. Is San Diego's this? I'm from Ventura who was wearing a cool, but everything I look for in the port area of San Diego Marina just brings hotels and fancy restaurants. Anyone familiar with the San Diego CA?
San Diego Bay has a fairly large, with many areas along so it depends on where youre going. Probably the busiest area of the waterfront is the Embarcadero, it starts at the San Diego Convention Center Hotel / Hyatt and wraps around until it reaches about the San Diego Maritime Museum and San Diego County Government Building. If you go into this field, there are only a few places that sell fish and chips, but being a gourmet, I must say there is no more spectacular. Anthony at the north end of the pier, near the Star of India is decent. They go for a walk up window titled "Fishette Anthony's" with an outdoor terrace on the water, I think the fish and chips are like $ 90-10. In the same area (opposite Anthony), there is a restaurant chain called Elephant and Castle, which serves English fish and chips in the lobby of the Holiday Inn. There is nothing special, but you can choose the halibut or cod, and it's like $ 12. It's a restaurant, but a place in San Diego allows it to do. However, there are no shops nearby.
The place with most shops where there are no fish and chip options. The south end of the pier has restaurants of luxury hotels and fast food restaurants in the village harbor.
Point Loma is aways from downtown, and not very fun to walk around the cause, it's more a yacht actual work / port where people throwing fishing vessels, as opposed to the Embarcadero, which is lined with tourist stuff. I think Point Loma Seafood is overrated, its close to $ 12-14 for fish and chips, and even if the fish is fresh, the dough is not very good.
In my opinion, my favorite fish and chips place is Shakespeare's Pub, next to Interstate 5 in Washington and India, outside of downtown San Diego. They do a very good tempura with a huge piece of cod, cut into large chips and English peas. For lunch, 11-16 hours, the prices are decent. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking San Diego downtown (and the highway haha). Yelp and chowhounders seem to agree that the fish and chips are very good here.
Another option is just to get some fish and chips to go into a restaurant downtown and take it with you, most places will. The Irish pub on the ground in the Gaslamp is decent, if Karl Strauss is near Little Italy.
Here's a good tourist resource of the bay from San Diego:

Anthony''''? I ate when I was in San Diego ... Yummy!
Good day to all,
Cat.
Oh, I live in San Diego! I like Anthony's Fish Grotto in San Diego, near the port area. They have the best food! =)
Ventura Oh! Oops, I thought the port, there is a very good restaurant called Seaward Fish & Chips. I ate twice and it's great! =)
I visited San Diego last summer and went to Point Loma Seafoods, which was very nice. It is through the port city and drive a little short, but he has a really pretty view and the food was great.
I do not think it's near the port, but if you're in downtown south of the Gaslamp District, I recommend Tin Fish.
Right under the shadow of Petco Park, opposite the convention center - I like the SHR.
