He is the son of independent filmmaker Robert Downey Sr., who actually gave his son his first role on the big screen in the book, in which Downey played a puppy. He was only 5 years. Downey was playing in films for over twenty years, even though most of his great films have been made more recently. Just when you thought his career might have been a downhill a little, he always finds a way to bounce back and resume his career to new heights.

The film, directed by Sir Richard Attenborough follows the true story of the late actor and great / actor / director Charles Chaplin. To put it simply, Downey nails Chaplin. He was so believable that Downey has his first Oscar and solidified him as a leading player.

Have you ever thought you see Robert Downey Jr. in a superhero movie? It was pretty good in the film, and really made the movie, super-hero to a whole new level with the delivery as clever and witty. The action and special effects are intense in high definition.
Tropic Thunder
You know the black guy in Tropic Thunder. If you can believe or not, is actually Robert Downey, Jr. behind the makeup. The idea itself is hysterical and the film was even better performance brought by Downey.

Holmes
It is Robert Downey Jr. last film was released in 2009. Downey attempts to breathe new life into the classic character, with all the old classic slogans you might hear the famous detective. Of course, old Watson (Jude Law plated) is right next to him ready to fix it when he is wrong.

This film gives a new way of watching film noir, but done so in a tongue-in-cheek. It is based in part on the new organs are where you find them by Brett Halliday.
Natural Born Killers
Cooling and surreal Oliver Stone brings us into the world of sick serial killer. This film was actually based on a screenplay written by Quentin Tarantino, Oliver Stone, but came in and made some rather drastic changes to it.
U.S. Marshals
It is a sort of sequel to the film The Fugitive, but suffers a bit of a shabby conspiracy. But leave it to guys like Tommy Lee Jones and Robert Downey Jr. to compensate for a lousy movie otherwise. Maybe Downey should consider playing more wicked.
