Reverse Diabetes DietCan you reverse diabetes vegetarian diet? imean vegetarian (with eggs and dairy products) do not share your testimony vegan?

Yes, it can certainly help your blood glucose control dramatically. Losing the dairy if ... this is not helping. Inverted means that the diabetes will disappear ... it will not.

Since going on a diet mostly vegetarian (I add some fish or chicken for protein), I lost 50 pounds and my glucose numbers in the blood are very consistent and easy to manage. My most recent HbA1c test was 5.8.

I do not like what anyone says, the facts are conclusive .... People living in rural areas of Asia and South America that have a diet of vegetables especially where there is virtually no processed foods or dairy products in their diet, not an epidemic obesity and diabetes as "developed" countries do. In fact, the incidence of Type II diabetes is virtually zero not. Why? People staying busy and eat only what Mother Nature intended for us to eat .... healthy foods.

sorry! you can not reverse diabetes with diet or exercise program. You can control the problem.

This is not meat or fat that cause the problem. There is some vegetables and many fruits and starchy foods such as cereals and grains.

A vegetarian diet or a vegan diet will solve the problem. It will probably only make it worse.

Many dairy products leads me to have very high glucose numbers because most of it is sold as "low fat" reduced fat "or" no "fat. This causes rapid spikes number of high glucose.

Whole milk, cream, butter, whole milk yogurt, and whole milk cottage cheese help me stay a little more level and still eat dairy products.

Meat: beef, lamb, chicken, fish are all proteins and does not enter the system as sugar! They eventually decompose and produce a little sugar in the system.

Rice, cereals, oats, other grains are quickly becoming the sugar in the digestive tract. They pick high number of glucose and quick.

Sweet sweet fruit do the same thing. They are mostly sugar to start, and it is not worth nothing.
