Passover Carrot Kugel

Passover Carrot KugelDoes anyone attend a Christ in the Passover seder this year?

I am!

This will be done with Christ in the Passover Haggadah.

Easter is celebrated in memory of the delivery of Jews from Egypt, commanded in the Book of Exodus (Exodus 12). A lamb bone (tail) is placed on the Seder plate. This means the lamb of sacrifice and blood that has been placed on door posts, as commanded by God. According to the New Testament, Christ is the Lamb that was slain for our sins (John 1:29).

Step 2
3 pieces of Matzoth are grouped on a special plate. This represents the Father, Son and Holy Spirit to Christians. Also, watch Matzoth. It has holes and scratches - a reminder of holes that pierced the hands and feet of Jesus and the beatings he has suffered (Isaiah 53:5, Psalms 22:16).

Step 3
The piece of Matzoth which is in the middle is covered with a cloth, cut in half, and half of it is hidden somewhere in the house (usually in the same or adjoining room) by an adult. This piece is called afikomen. Later in the meal, the children must search the house to find the afikomen. The Passover Seder can not continue until it is.

Step 4
This piece of Matzoth is broken into small pieces, and everyone participates in the meal to eat a piece of unleavened bread. This reminds the Christian communion, which was directed by Jesus Christ (Luke 22:19, I Corinthians 11:23-24).

Step 5
Jesus himself makes many references to children and the Kingdom of God. Indeed, many people believe that we must become as little children to find God. There are too many references to Christ and children of the list of all of them, but we know that Christ had a heart for children.

Step 6
The word, afikomen, is a Greek word. It means something to the effect of "what is to come." Jesus himself was dead (broken), buried (hidden), and rose again (found).

It will then be celebrated with a traditional Passover meal:

Turkey
Leek and Potato Kugel
A sort of sweet potatoes roasted with apricot glaze.
roasted carrots and parsnips
And, of course, the famous chest.
Charoset

Also sauce meal matzah stuffing cranberry, walnuts and oranges segmented.

I guarantee you, that will be considered an affront to rabbinic Judaism. However, for Christians, it is a beautiful thing. Moreover, Jesus was Jewish, so having the Seder is biblical in his honor.

Again, for the Jews, the Christian teaching that the blood of Jesus saves from sin, would be blasphemous to them (especially at a Passover Seder). Some non-religious Jews, and think Christ in the Passover Seder is undermining their faith.

If you know that, because some jobs will inevitably seems Rant "It's disgusting," but nothing you have not heard here before I'm sure.

Enjoy your Seder well, you'll be with like-minded people and that is what matters. Personally, I wish I was attending one myself.

May God bless you

If you think the answers were wrong, you do not understand them. If people insult you and perverting things of great importance to them, expect to be criticized. Report Abuse

Not bad - true. Holiday and pervert our religion is disgusting. Insertion of Jesus where he has never been and will never be a lack of respect for the Jews. Flag

What is bad is to have people come and take ho Jew.
