What are the sugary snacks vegan without a ton of calories? Back in the day, when I wanted healthy snacks but sweet I filled the fridge with things like yogurt and cottage cheese with fruit.
These types of foods were soft and felt like a snack without having a ton of fat and calories attached. Vegetables are great and all, but those who feel more like food and not taste.
Anyway, since I removed dairy from my house, I found myself snackless.
Vegan yogurt has about 180 calories, which is more than I care to get out of yogurt. Cliff bars are 250, Luna is also close to 180.
I am not a diet or anything, but I have something sweet low-calorie snacks throughout the day.
Lately, my snacks were foods like applesauce, but not much variety and not much fun.
Any ideas for snacks?
Thank you
:)
Many of these "100 calorie" packs are vegan. My favorites are the shortbread Lorna Doone and Planters peanuts gadgets, but I know there's more. I pick up little cups fruit cocktail with a light syrup by Del Monte and have about 80 calories per cup. I also eat a lot of chips and salsa. Hmmm ... I guess I probably eat Tofutti Cuties too. I like the way they are only 130 calories ... Yuck, I tried the cookies and cream flavor, the other day, jump on them. Italian Ice is vegan and only 60 calories per cup, yum! I am always looking for delicious snacks myself, and these are things that I ate before I was vegan anyway, hehe!
Raw fruit / vegetables, organic. (For me, the vegetables feel really snackish if raw)
100% whole grain wheat puffed.
Rice crackers. (With guacamole or just plain ... I like algae, mmmmm mm)
Choose young dandelion leaves and eat them fresh soil (untreated).
sweet potato chips (sliced thin) in the oven until crispy (or not) sprinkled with a little cinnamon sugar (I suppose you can use artificial sweeteners instead, but do not take a lot of reality). The cinnamon really adds to the flavor of sweet potato ".... You can make your own, or sells them as Pringles Select Sweet potato chips."
they do not give nutritional information, but try to go www.goveg.com go and ask the vegan chef, then the buyer's guide and 8 snack aisle, they give tons of crust vegetarian choice but to alaphabetical not include nutritional information of its essentially a buying guide.
a bar of balance? idk
I volunteered at the art camp this year and there was this girl whos entire family was vegan and she was always eating things like cheese and crackers and vegan ones you can manage the number you Eat everything in place a certain amount on your plate instead of eating with cheese and crackers in front of you if you eat less and you can control how much you eat
it's not very nice, but if you add raisins to it, it will be a nice touch for the summer and you can freeze the grapes and taste rly rly good
Here is a list of things that are vegan, I'm sorry I did not nutritional information, but I'm sure you can quickly find online or in a store ...
