Minnesota Wild Tickets The Minnesota Wild is a famous team of professional ice hockey in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Their symbol is a bear, is also a popular symbol of their own. The Minnesota Wild is a member of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. The first team began play in 2000.
The National Hockey League awarded an expansion franchise in Minnesota [1997]. This means they play in the 2000-2001 season. For the 2006-07 season, the Wild signed veteran free agents Mark Parrish, Kim Johnsson and Keith Carney. The Wild to the playoffs in 2007. This is the second time they did. However, they were eliminated by the Anaheim Ducks Stanley Cup champions in the first round.
Minnesota Sports & Entertainment owns the Minnesota Wild. This is a limited partnership established by Bob Naegele Jr., who is the majority owner. The Minnesota Swarm in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) is also in this partnership. In possession of these two teams, the partnership also operates the St. Paul RiverCentre, the Xcel Energy Center and Roy Wilkins Auditorium. In addition, the Partnership owns and operates 317 on Rice Park. It was previously known as the historic Minnesota Club.
