Help the Jewish religion? Mezuzah and Shema? I am a bit confused ...
I know the Shema are verses of the Torah, but what is called the parchment? Is this the Mezuzah parchment called?
And that is the case called? Many sites say that as "Mezuzah case" does that mean that the document itself is called the mezuzah?
I'm confused ... HELP!
The Shema is a prayer that we say that the verses of the Torah. The parchment is called the mezuzah. The case is a mezuzah cases, although people sometimes just called a mezuzah.
Peace
The parchment is called Klafs.

As said LadySuri it is called the Mezuzah parchment. The word is a generic name Klafs any sheet of paper that you might use in a generic sense for a mezuzah, though when used properly speaking manner, he was designated as a mezuzah,
Many sites use the word incorrectly to refer to Mezuzah case law, indeed, the case is not necessary, but is only used to protect the Mezuzah inside (especially when used on a door exposed to elements.) You'll sometimes find that when a building is new and there was no time to get cases, etc. (bad planning!) that will be wrapped in clingwrap mezuzahs and secured with tape in place until more cases can be obtained.
The Shema is a prayer, we are obliged to say three times a day Shacharit (morning prayer), Maariv (evening prayer) and before bedtime. Aught containsd he gave command of the Mezuzah is what is written on parchment, and must be written using the same rules as for the drafting of a section of the Torah.
The parchment of the mezuzah is the Shema. The case and the parchment together is considered the Mezuzah. The document is considered the Mezuzah parchment and the case is considered a Mezuzah case.
Who cares, just read your Bible and pray.
