Lunch Meat BrandsHow to save money: Kid's meal (and yours too)

All parents want to send their child at home with a good meal in good health. Mine did. However, many parents mistake of a good breakfast as one filled with beautifully wrapped, sweet, expensive items. This should not be the case. Prepare a snack will be cheaper than having your child at lunch. Also, in addition to saving money by making breakfast this article describes, from personal experience, how to save even more money by looking at what you put into these lunches.

My typical breakfast growing up was a PB & J sandwich, a bag of chips, variations of fruit (apples, fresh fruit, or yogurt), and two witnesses. I had this afternoon, with some changes from time to time, every day at school ... for twelve years. This is not a huge breakfast, but I survived, my parents saved money, and you and your children can too.

So, you're probably asked, "Well, what do I put in my child's meal?" The answer begins in the grocery store. Lunch Break into four categories: a main element (sandwich or leftover pizza) a side (chips, crackers), fruit / vegetables or variation (apple, banana, apple), and a small dessert (cookies). This will ensure that the breakfast was enough to meet its owner and give it the nutrients necessary to succeed in school. To start saving money that you must follow these simple steps:

  1. Avoid costly, unnecessary elements (ie juice boxes, soda, fruit roll-ups, and other sweet foods packaged)

    1. . Kids do not need to drink cans of juice or soft drinks in their lunch. Each school and place of business has a kind of drinking fountain or water dispenser. Water is the best drink for you and best of all, it's free! I never had in 12 years of school at any kind of drink my breakfast. It saved me tons of money and parents forced me to be healthier.

    2. Treats. Do not treat them as useless fruit roll-ups or Ding dong. These articles are full of sugar, are not filling, can cause obesity, and are very expensive. Eliminating these from your shopping list. I still believe something sweet is a good way to finish a meal so that instead of replacing expensive parts cheap private label cookies. They come in large packs, are cheap, and taste very close to the mark. This way, you can glue two small cookies in a bag and still have a treat in your lunch (except this way, it will be much cheaper). By the way, if you're worried about the thing store brand, it's a cookie! He can not taste much worse than a cookie brand.

  2. Buy your bulk items

    1. Sandwiches. If you go to purchase items such as peanut butter sandwich or meatloaf, you can buy the biggest package possible at the best price. You'll use every day and you probably will not be sent to the landfill. Buying a jar of peanut butter every week or two will end up costing a lot more in one year if you bought a big jar that lasted a month or two.

    2. Side items. Buy big boxes of chips or package sizes Costco applesauce individual. Small packages will cost considerably more expensive than buying the large box or bag. It may cost a little more forward, but will save much money at the end.

  3. Be Smart.

    1. Buy the cheapest bread. Your children will not know the difference.

    2. Shop around. Invest time to see the ads that come in your local newspaper before going to the grocery store. Clip coupons and be sure that you buy at ch.
