What is the best way to preserve fresh lobster? I'm going on a boat for nine days and we intend on getting some lobster fishermen living on an island. We expect trading stuff for lobster. My question is how to prepare and maintain the lobster to eat on the road. Can we just snap off the stems and freeze them or should we reduce the boil before freezing. We do not have a large pot boil the lobsters together. We are seeking about 25 of them.
Fresh Lobster keeps well on the ice, but not for long.
Your best bet is to go fully prepared to do the job.
Good Luck .. and eat well. Take the butter and salt.
if u take me u will not have to worry about freezing! have a strong flow of fresh lobster ol
The best way is to layer them in a cooler with wet newsprint and ice on the upper
refrigerator or ice
thaws, it keeps it fresh is what we did the day before new years.
Keep alive in a tank at a controlled temperature!
you can freeze them so u said. it would be better to cook them immediately, then freeze.
keep them alive until you're ready to eat, so you can store them in salt water, they are a shell of salt water
on ice, or if you can, they will be better if you can keep them alive until you cook them. for better
