Do I need to do in a kitchen kosher, I need to use ingredients that Kosher?

YES !!!!! Im Jewish and yes it must be done in a kosher kitchen. I mean you cannot use utensils that have been in contact with meat products milk and vice versa. Also, you must have separate shafts for dairy and meat products! You can not put a spoon that has been used for dairy products in a sink that was used to wash the meat, etc.. This applies to Orthodox Jews and some conservative ... others that you really have to worry about. Congratulations on the marriage!

Usually, a kosher wedding cake represents only kosher ingredients. To be sure, you can contact a rabbi, or ask a Jewish friend.

Kosher is a very strict diet of life. To give you an idea of what food should be considered kosher, here are some rules.

1. Some animals can not be eaten, like pork or shellfish. This restriction includes the flesh, organs, eggs and milk of animals prohibited.

2. Of the animals that can be consumed, birds and mammals must be slaughtered according to Jewish law.

3. The blood must be drained from the meat grilled or outside of it before it is eaten.

4. Certain parts of permitted animals may not be eaten.

5. The meat can not be eaten with dairy. Fish, eggs, fruit, vegetables and grains can be eaten with meat or dairy products. Utensils that have come into contact with meat can be used with dairy, and vice versa. Utensils that have come into contact with foodstuffs nonkosher can not be used with kosher food. Thus, in all kitchens kosher, there are two sets of pans. One for meat, and the other for dairy products.

6. All food and work surfaces should be inspected and blessed by a rabbi to be certified kosher.

Eating kosher is different than eating kosher "style.

The cake I made was kosher style. This means that all the ingredients I used to make the cake were kosher, however, a rabbi does not bless the tools I used for its manufacture.

I had to replace many ingredients to keep in check the cake, which drew many tasting sessions revenue. The end result is a chocolate cake with hazelnut-made with more milk or butter added.



I was very pleased with how much tasted. I learned how important it is to be aware of dietary restrictions. To be a great leader, you must always be flexible to work with people to prepare foods that meet their needs.
