I want to make a sangria using sweet Manischewitz Kosher New York State kosher wine Concord. Recipe anyone? Passover is the feast of the imagination. What can we eat
without violating the laws of kashrut. As a pleasant drink to go
dinner, I want to make a pretty Spanish-style sangria using
sweet Manischewitz concord. Wharton fruit are needed. What
juices should be added. Did anyone try?
I never used to manufacture Manischewetz sangria, but the recipe does not change much. Basically you use a good amount of red wine, in this case Manischewetz, depending on how you intend to serve, I aim for 2 quarts or 1 gallon. Mani is a bit weak in% ABV, two bottles of 750 ml for a half-gallon and 4 bottles in a gallon is probably a good way. And as a reminder, my measurements are approximate.
So two bottles Mani
4 oranges, two juices, two slices
2 lemons, 1 juice, they cut
2 limes, 1 juice, they cut
1 bag of mixed frozen fruit
half a cup of brandy
a half-liter of soda
Sugar to taste if even necessary.
Juice of half oranges, lemons and limes, and add wine, then cut the other half and mix well. Mix in a bag of frozen fruit and half a cup of brandy and half a liter of soda water. If not sweet enough, keep adding 1 / 4 cup sugar and stir until until the flavors as you want.
This will actually make more than a half-gallon, and you can double the production of more than a gallon. The amount of sugar and brandy is adjustable according to the sweet and strong you want your sangria. There are also many variations you can use sprite or champagne instead of soda water.
