Kosher Kingdom

Kosher KingdomHow come Christians are not kosher?

Jesus is very clear in Matthew 5:17-19 that all laws of the Old Testament are to follow "heaven and earth pass Til. In its context and can not be carried away by Paul's words, saying that the blood of the Lamb is a wash away your sins all you need is belief. If you do start to think that salvation came to the conviction alone, he followed with Matthew 5:20 that if your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom heaven.

Because of what Peter knew as described here:
Acts 9:9-15
The next day, as they continued their journey, and they approached the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray about the sixth hour:
And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
And saw heaven opened, and a boat coming down towards him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let the earth:
Where are all sorts of beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and reptiles, and birds of the sky.
And there came a voice to him, Arise, Peter, kill and eat.
But Peter saith unto him, Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is unclean or impure.
And the voice spoke a second time, What God hath cleansed, that: Do not look.

we arent Jewish .... we are under grace .... He was a Jew, you know

Because if Chritian were doing most of the things listed in the Old Testament, we would probably be labeled barbarians. I mean, the Old Testament says to call your priest and leave your house if you see mildew in it.

Act 11:

2 When Peter came to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision contended against him,

3 saying: "You went to men uncircumcised, and eats with them!"

4 But Peter began, and explained to them in the order, saying:

5 "I was in the city of Joppa praying, and trance, I saw a vision: a container coming down, as if it was a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners. He came up to me .

6 When I stared, I considered, and saw four-footed land animals, wild animals, reptiles and birds of the sky.

7 I also heard a voice saying to me: "Arise, Peter, kill and eat!

8 But I said, 'No, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered my mouth. "

9 But a voice answered the second time from heaven, "What God has cleansed, do not call unclean."

10 This was done three times, and all were set in the sky.

Peter had a vision of a sheet with all sorts of animals on them and God told him to kill and eat that Peter did not want to because he was Jewish. But God told him not to call any unclean he called clean.

And I think it was said that this is not what happens in your body that makes you unclean but what comes out.

I hope this answers your question.

It describes some of the verses that sounds like "contrary" to each other.
May God bless you

Yet, in Matthew 9.12, and 15, it is emphasized that Jesus and his disciples did not follow exactly the law.

Moreover, it breaks the "laws" when he healed the blind man on the Sabbath.

Asked about breaking the law, "Jesus replied:" And why do you break the commandment of God for your tradition? "(Mt 15:3) He will then" listen and understand. What is happening in the mouth of a man does not make him "unclean", but what comes out of his mouth, that's what MAK.
