Jerky DehydratorHow to beef jerky in a dehydrator?

Should I cook the meat dried at low temperature in the oven after drying? Or it is safe to eat on the dehydrator?

I have a Nesco dehydrator.I not put my jerky in oven after it.Put dehydrate your jerky in a ziplock and when you eat a piece want.I killed at least 50 lots of love only jerky. Not jerky but I like experimenting with different spices combinations.I do not know what spices you like, but this recipe is my favorite. 155 degrees!
1 pound eye round roast. (Remove any fat and cut into appropriate size pieces for jerky) set aside.
Mix this stuff in a large bowl,
1 large head garlic (about 15 cloves) minced or pressed very low.
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 Country Head of TBS (hot) barbecue sauce
6 TBS Honey
2 v. tablespoon Worcestershire
2 v. tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 tsp teaspoon cayenne pepper (red pepper)
1 tsp teaspoon black pepper
Mix well then add the meat and towels around to coat all pieces.
Put the lid on the bowl and refrigerate for 6-8 hours
Place it in the dehydrator on 155 degrees for 6 hours.
If you do not like spicy, try something else.

My step son just used the dehydrator.

Good quality steak into thin slices and marinate in your favorite sauce and then dehydrated and enjoy this simple ..
