Healthy Eating With Diabetes

Healthy Eating With DiabetesHow to eat well with diabetes type 1?

I have type 1 diabetes and I struggle to overcome. Does anyone have recipes for healthy eating w / diabetes or advice to manage and control your diabetes.

I was diabetic (type II) for thirteen years. Based on my experiences, I propose the following.

1. Make sure you see an endocrinologist. MD and DD refuse to conceed their lack of expertise in the treatment of diabetes. A good, well informed, physicians assistants is also a great help. They can spend the time to talk.

2. Traditionally, the prescribed diet is 60% carbohydrate, 25% protein and 10-15% fat. He never worked for me. Now I try to eat 70% protein, 15% carbohydrates and a little fat (it is necessary).

3. The really bad news NO PASTA, White potatoes, buttered TOAST, pancakes or waffles. Starch and gluten are very bad for us. If you have to deal with a craving, eat a small portion, then the exercise (riding a bike, brisk walking for several miles) to burn up carbohydrates.

4. Oddly, my blood sugar goes well if I eat strawberries or blueberries, but back in two hours. It just goes to show you that the body reacts to all diabetic foods in different ways.

All I can offer is a high-protein diet and daily exercise seriously works very well for me. Tell the doctor or PA know so they can check your output kindney.

Although personally I am not a freak year, it beats the hell out of body parts to lose or blindness.

Good luck!

A healthy and balanced diet. Eat starchy, potato say, oats, etc., and cut as much sugar. Check the labels that carbonates contain sugar.

The fruit is good in moderation, because they contain natural sugars that have little effect on your blood sugar.

Rice and pasta are good, but again check the labels on the sauces, which could be high in sugar, so make your own.

good foods are: fresh vegetables, potatoes, cabbage, etc.
