How do you know if a restaurant in Malaysia is halal or not? I know that Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim country, but since it also has a non-Muslim population, I wonder about eating out. Is the food in typical restaurants halal? What about food in eating areas, shopping malls, etc.? Most restaurants do not sign halal, so I wonder. Any help from those who have been to / lived in Malaysia would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
You can go ask.
Almost all restaurants are halal in Malaysia, even the Chinese restaurants. He will say so on the door or windows.
But if you're not sure. The few Chinese restaurants that are not halal'll just get away from the pork, if you still eat there. They will not if England if you decide to go elsewhere. Do not worry about a thing!
The best thing to do is choose a place and thank you for the question whether their food is halal or not. Being that this is a predominantly Musim, Im sure they will understand your concerns.
almost all the restraunts in Malaysia are halal. non-halal restraunts have posters or something that say they are non-halal food
If you do not see if the restaurant is halal the smartest thing to do would be to ask the owner or employees.
