Hash Brown Dinner Easy Taco
1 lb. lean ground beef
½ cup onion, chopped
½ tsp tsp garlic, minced
1-8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 tsp teaspoon chili powder
¾ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter soup
On 1 tablespoon vegetable oil soup
4 ½ cups hash brown potatoes, frozen, thawed (about ½ of a 26 oz package)
4 slices tomato
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Brown the lean ground beef with onions and garlic, then drain well. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and ½ tsp tsp salt, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Mix the butter and oil in a frying pan non stick oven proof skillet or heat until bubbly. Press hash browns in the skillet and cook for five minutes. Preheat your grill. Add ground beef mixture on fried potatoes and garnish with tomato slices and cheese. Broil a few minutes.
