I started this diet because I have progressed far enough in the way diabetes. I found a new doctor who did not send me to a dietitian, "but I learned to eat what my body would handle. It is very simple. You can eat anything green, most vegetables, but stay away from corn, beets, beans (beans ok mainly because pod). You know starches. I do not eat squash, but the portions attention. The meat is the size of a deck of cards. So I do a lot of noise type fry dishes and stews vegetables that are tasty and filling. Stay away from all things white. . . Milk, potatoes, rice, pasta flour items, and, of course. . . Sucre. There is a very good book, especially if you are prediabetic by Dr. Sears. He preached a balanced diet and understands that there are people who have insulin / glucose problems long before they are diagnosed with diabetes. It lists the foods in the back which pushes your blood sugar in varying degrees. . . High, Low & Med. The most interesting has been consistently very good and full of ice cream in fat. He did not draw your blood sugar and is a way because the body was so busy trying to fight against fat, it has not risen as fast your blood sugar. But when everything is finished for me. I discovered that I love grilled green beans - fresh season if I can - and they with all that goes with the rest of the meal. . . Garlic is my favorite. You can also get frozen they are fast. I learned to chow on a green pepper, as it was an apple for a snack. Sounded bad for me until I was so hungry that he was very good. I also found a strange little restaurant that makes this salad. It is in Mexico to not dressing for your salad. . . They put dill pickles in it and dill pickles be a surprising addition to salads. Similarly, if the salad needs a boost I put pico de gallo on it and get my problem taken care of too sinuses. I think I can go out from time to time have a cheeseburger have big ol 'and it does not take my sugar to treat and I load them down with vegetables anyway. That's all I can think, and I hope it helps. There are strange things, I found that my cravings stopped and I think I forgot my favorite. cucumber slices with Tony Chacara Creole seasoning. He has salt to be used with care, but when you really want a potato chip. . . I swear this is better. Good luck. It's quite a struggle to be creative to eat, but I'll try.
It is not a so-called diet for diabetes, but there is important information you need to know to help you make better food choices.
I found a site that helps explain a lot of information on the subject of food and much more.
Good luck to you.
good food would cruciferous vegetables, lean meats and fish.
