I Love kosher wine - Cabernet Sauvignon From Israel The Upper Galilee region of Israel sports North some of the highest mountains in the country. We are talking about more than a kilometer (more than five-eighths of a mile high). While the mountains can not begin to compete with Everest, they can lead to an excellent wine and did even two thousand years. And who has never associated with wine Everest, anyway?
This particular producer, is a joint venture between an Israeli kibbutz (Yiron) a private company, the Golan Heights Winery. The vines are hot during the day and quite cool at night. And I have the vague feeling that the soil is poor. These are certainly important considerations for the production of wine. Incidentally, some of their vines are covered with snow in winter. The company has established a distinctive center.

K Wine Review Cabernet Sauvignon / P (Galil Mountain) 2007 13.5% alcohol Approximately $ 19
There was no marketing materials we will begin with a quotation from the return label. Style: Full bodied and concentrated fruit and notes of plum layered with a hint of herbs. Serving suggestion: Serve at around 64 ยบ F (18 C) with food such as pasta or rich meat courses like a tasty grilled steak or lamb stew. And now for my review.
With the first sip of wine was thick and yet subtle. He had lots and lots of extract. The original meal consisted of beef stew cooked slowly. This car has a nice acidity and a taste of chocolate. But when I added the green jalapeno sauce ragout nothing changed.
The second meal included roasted chicken with potatoes, onions and carrots. The wine is long and tasted like black plums. It had good acidity that makes a good job of cutting fat and I noticed a little tobacco.
The last meal centered around an eggplant parmigiana box topped with grated parmesan cheese. This time, I'm dark tobacco. This Cabernet Sauvignon wine was still sweet and musky. It was quite refreshing, but thinner than it should have been.
Before the pairs of cheese I tasted this drink with Matjes herring. It was quite subtle and long term. Next was the Gouda cheese. The wine was harmless, for some reason I had the idea of a little boy hiding in the corner. Then I went to a Swiss cheese is a Swiss differently than in the past and who does not run but only the Swiss Emmental. The Cab has shown the strength and black cherry.
the final verdict. There is plenty of kosher wines on the market that it is not necessary to enter it when you want a wine of medium range. I will continue to watch because I find this wine a bit disappointing for the price.
