Fondue BatterTreasured Recipes Valentines to share with your grandchildren

Sweet for sweet is the theme of Valentine's Day. Valentine is the best time to spend the day in the kitchen creating time snacks with small honor.

White chocolate, dark chocolate swirls will be a real treat for a dessert buffet Valentine's Day. Children love chocolate and strawberries. The combination makes for a delicious and fun.
Chocolate Fondue Strawberries Red & White

Ingredients

* 1 cup whipping cream
* 10 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
* 2 ounces white chocolate, chopped
* Fruit of fresh strawberries, sliced banana, orange
* Sara Lee Pound cake cut into cubes

Instructions:

1. Pour whipping cream in small saucepan
place over medium.
2. Bring cream to a simmer
3. Remove from heat.
4. Add semisweet chocolate and stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
5.Transfer mixture to a small ceramic fondue pot over a tea light candle.
6.Sprinkle pieces of white chocolate on dark chocolate mixture.
7.Let rest for a minute or two to allow it to melt
8. Gently run a spoon in the mixture two or three times, until marbled.
9. Serve with strawberries and other fresh fruit and cake pieces for dipping.

Valentine Cupcakes
Special treatment to serve on Valentine's Day

INGREDIENTS:

Red Velvet Cake Mix *
Cream Cheese Frosting *
Cinnamon Hearts *
* Mussels heart shaped cake

Instructions:

1. Make your cake batter as directed on package
2. Pour into cupcake cups in the cupcake pan.
3. Frost and decorate with cinnamon hearts.

These cookies are so easy, even the smallest aid can participate in the excitement. Fast and the cooling is all that is needed.

Valentine Cookies

Ingredients

* 1 box vanilla wafer cookies
* 1 package. round pretzels
* 1 bag of Hershey's Kisses
* 1 box candy hearts
candies * 1 8 oz Valentine M & M

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
2. Place vanilla wafers 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Choose a Hershey's kiss on the center of each cookie.
4. Bake at 200 degrees for 5 minutes.
5. Remove from oven and gently press an M & M candy or a candy heart in the center of the softened Hershey's Kiss.

Cool completely in the chocolate to harden again. You can chill in the refrigerator, but the chocolate softens even after coming out of the refrigerator. Just allow them to sit long enough to harden again.

PRETZELS Valentine

Place pretzels 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Place a Hershey's Kiss into center of each pretzel and bake for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and gently press an M & M candies or candy heart in the center of the chocolate melted.

By pushing down you can move the chocolate a little to fill the gaps between the chocolate and pretzels. This will comply with chocolate pretzels. Cool completely.
