Flowering Crab

Flowering CrabCan my tree flowering crab be saved?

I have a big flowering crab that is about 20 years. This year, the leaves came as usual and the tree was covered with flower buds. Then, overnight, simply dried up. The flower buds are brown, some leaves are curled inward so, and everything seems bland. I made a thorough inspection visually and I do not really see anything. Is there hope for this beautiful tree?

Sounds like fire blight. Very hard to stop. It's a bacterial infection.
