What are the requirements for embryo transfer? I'm in college and I'm studying to become a veterinarian, but I thought recently and I really do not want to go through all the years of schooling. but I've been watching the reproduction and genetics and embryo transfer, and you want to do something in this direction. I think I'm going to major in biomedical science and a minor in animal science, but I'm not really sure what the requirements should be able to get involved on the ground int repro. what steps did you have to do the embryo transfer and manage DNA testing and genetics and reproduction?
If you talk to animals other than humans, not sure what those requirements are.
When it comes to man, the reality * do * the transfer, you must be a specialized medical doctor. Regarding only the manipulation of DNA testing, you can work in a laboratory with a degree in Microbiology (or related), for example, or perhaps less if you are a lab technician. To effectively oversee the lab, you'll probably expect to have a doctorate or at least a master's degree, or related experience.
