Regarding lifestyle, I walk every day for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Staying active really helps with my blood sugar in the blood ~ I drink water since my husband hates diet drinks:)
I see an endocrinologist 2 to 4 times per year. They are better informed about diabetes from a general practitioner. He did the tests I need it and can make recommendations to me in particular. Also, it gives me meters, strips and other diabetic supplies to the sample:)
Contact me if you have specific questions ~

Born into a family who are diabetic, you should try not to drink a lot, try to stay away from fast food resturants, daily exercise, and drink lots of water ..
Go to the American Diabetes Association and you should be able to find a sample menu. If your local hospital offers a nutrition class, so sign up and take it. You will receive a sample menu and how a few different food groups that you are authorized for the day. Then you can go to www.allrecipes.com and they have menus for a diabetic. Good luck.
My father has diabetes, and I believe that following the "Atkins Diet" is a good idea. If you have not heard of that I am almost certain that you have, it consists of the contribution of many proteins, and little or no carbohydrates. Because your body deals with carbohydrates like sugar, even if it's not sugar. And because diabetics do not produce insulin, they can not control their blood sugar in the blood /. In addition, if your blood sugar is too low, you should try to drink orange juice.
Yes. Eat half of what you used to. Do not eat after 6 or 7 pm so Cut the sweets and refined sugar and flour products. Get a dog you would have to walk twice a day for exercise. Get eight hours of sleep each night.
PS - not sucked sugar substitutes and diet products or margarine. They could cause more problems than benefits. Stay natural.
I am diabetic myself and the doctor gave me no timetable for diabetics as such. Try salads, grilled instead of fried and stay away from many of these BREAD WITH CAUSE corn bread turns into sugar. In addition, no pasta and if you do not have much and which includes: rice, SPAGHETTII, and macaroni, AND these potatoes. I was told that you can broccoli sweet potatoes but not much and califlower, and squash, and meat must be grilled as I said, broiled or baked, boiled or even fried foods but not too greasy and the tea should be either unsweetned (if can afford it this way), if not sweet-n-low and put in each glass jar instead of the whole is this way and it is also best . In addition, it oversees the items you put your meat, such as ketchup and mayonnaise they have too much sugar in grains like those on the shelves; You shop to see what you can eat better and to consult a doctor who specializes in "diabetes" ask him IF they do and do not be afraid to ask many questions OK. Hope this helps Also you can go to the library and C.
