Is it safe to use sweetener if you're not diabetic? What is the best sweetener? Is it safe to use sweetener if you are not diabetic. It is a long list of people in my family with diabetes. I suppose if I use sweetener, it would reduce my chances of getting diabetes. There are a ton of sweeteners out there, which is the best?
Hello!
People say many things about artificial sweeteners, and people were quite rude to me about this in the past, but I went quite a few seminars and doing research, so I'll tell you what I know .
The aspartame used to be the most widely used and most popular sweeteners. People say that you kill, it will give you cancer, and break the walls of your stomach ... None of this has been proven. There have been many studies, but nothing conclusive yet. Yet the stories are scary, and I think better to stay away from the substance, if you can help.
Which brings me to Splenda. Sweetener Splenda is a relatively new and is quite amazing. It is actually a sugar molecule with chlorine (If I'm not mistaken) have been removed. This means that it is not artificial! And it will not affect your blood sugar.
Splenda for me is the best sweetener out there, but using the other will not kill you.
In addition, the reduction of the sugar does not decrease your chances of type 2 diabetes, type 1 is inherited, for the most part.
I hope this helped a little.
Good luck!
I like to use sucralose (Splenda), because it tastes better to me than aspartame or saccharin. Saccharin appears to be linked to cancer, so that I (and is very bitter in my opinion).
But the use of these sweeteners is expected to have any impact on it for diabetes, it should be safe.
Avoid sugar, or good diet, do help prevent Type II diabetes, which is not genetic. If members of your family Type I / Juvenile / diabetes gene, changing your diet will not help.
Artificial sweeteners are often the subject of alarming stories in the media, saying they cause a variety of health problems, including cancer. According to the National Cancer Institute, however, there is no scientific evidence that one of the artificial sweeteners approved by the FDA to cause cancer.
The best prevention is, however
1. Significantly reduce your level of carbohydrates, taking only the range of low glycemic index.
2. Do not charge your metabolism to the eyeballs first thing in the morning, stick to protein and vegetables and nuts such low-carb.
3. Do not eat carbohydrates after you work in Finland, since your body will be much less effective when it becomes less active.
Just using sweetener will not reduce your chances of developing diabetes. It is the combination of a moderate diet, enough exercise, weight control and healthy living will help avert emotional type 2 diabetes. Doing a little research on this site:

they have a lot of information that may be useful in preventing type 2 diabetes.
