Is it possible to fix chicken stew in the Crock-Pot? My husband does not eat vegetables, so all I can put in the stew chicken is chicken, milk, butter, salt and pepper. Does anyone have a simple recipe Crock-Pot with only those ingredients?
Whatever recipe you find, just let vegetables. We are not too many followers of vegetables cooked, the texture, but I usually add in chunks of onions or peppers can infuse their flavor into what I'm cooking, but are large enough to choose before eating.
Try it, you can easily remove the vegetables, just use lots of spices, you can add everything you like, and maybe throw in some egg noodles for the last hour course that way you can just make a soup or chicken and dumplings, but whatever. Or you can always tell the big guy to "eat the vegetables around" what will not kill him.
CrockPot Chicken Stew
INGREDIENTS:
£ 2 skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
3 1 / 2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 tsp teaspoon dried thyme
1 / 2 teaspoon black pepper or seasoned pepper mix
salt to taste
PREPARATION:
Mix all ingredients except peas in slow cooker / Crock Pot and mix well. Cover and simmer 6-8 hours, until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender Stir in peas the last 30 minutes.
For 6-8.
Use your regular recipe with your ingredients described, but put them in the crock pot on low heat for about 7-8 hours. Do not add salt until done .... it will be difficult chicken. You can shake the vegis cooked in your bowl.
Please take offense STOP MY MAN HOOD ..

This is called the cream of chicken soup! Campbell is good.
Yes, it is possible but not as tasty.
If he honestly "do not eat vegetables, you may want to consider telling him to do for himself. People who do not eat vegetables are in very poor health.
Any cooking stew dollars would be terrible totally free of onion, tomato or other vegetables. Why bother making stew, roast a chicken and do with it. Or, do it with vegetables, and tell him his options are to eat or cook for himself (and pay the hospital bills that result).
