Chook HouseI have a black snake in my house chook?

I entered my house chook today 23/02/2008 and almost standing on a black snake, I think it is to eat chicken eggs that we do not get eggs and I'm terrified of I saw snakes in Australia, I do not know if it is a red-bellied or not I was hoping someone could tell how to get rid of him or catch, there are a lot of the next Bush property, but we think he is alive in the next delivery to the hens any advice would be appreciated. I do not know who was more scared me or the snake, we offer both very fast, I guess I was very lucky it went in reverse and do not bite me, I hope someone one can help, I am desperate.

OK, I live in AU so it was most likley a red-bellied black snake or black snake could be a tigger, but I DOUT. If it is a custom red-bellied snake u have brown is good, red belly are the only other snake brown snake is afraid of, but if you really want to go get a few of ur control local wildlife and RESCU to pick it up. u live in this state would do much more tho
good luck =]

Depending on where you live it could be any one of about five or six dangerous snakes and about a dozen of those so harmless.
Take care expected to be. Contact your local herpetological society. Your police station will have the numbers. They love nothing more than catching and releasing snakes. The snake probably hunted rodents that were attracted by spilled foods. Decrease your population of rats and mice and they will find another place to hunt.

RELAX - Most snakes are shy and retiring, but take care not to any corner of snake.

You're not on the menu. I urge anyone living near snakes be able to apply a bandage properly as this simple step allows you to get the time to help with your living and stabilized envenomation.

Get rid of all the wood in bulk building materials and other shelters and keep the vegetation down.

If you are particularly worried about the rubber boots and thick socks to wear when you go near the hens. Good luck!
