Carnevale Restaurant

Carnevale RestaurantAny good restaurants in Venice, Italy, which are mostly frequented by locals rather than tourists?

I've been to Venice before, but this time I would eat in places that people eat. I will be back in early February and want to eat good food at reasonable prices in these two areas. I guess things will be expensive because I'll be there for the end of Carnevale. I do not want to go to these places of tourist. Oh, and I remain close to the station. If you have any suggestions, please briefly describe the type of food and experience. Thank you.

I recommend you go to coffee bar Olimpia, which is just down the station. This is a fairly typical looking coffee, but I was surprised with the currently very warm and friendly welcome I received as I walked to the bar.

It was a little busy place - lots of people popping in for a quick coffee before leaving for the day's activities.

And while I was at the bar, sipping my coffee I had one of "those moments" you have some time ... when you think - Yes, that's what life is all about and I love it!

Yes, Tres Gobbi is very good!

A bit expensive (forget the word of Venice), but people go there, and I always eat there when I am in Venice:
