Orlando is a wonderful city to visit for beaches, Disney World, culture and certainly the food. Whether you are in Orlando for a short stay or for a long period to come, you should make sure and dine at some of these restaurants first. They are known for their excellent cuisine and atmosphere, and the last is perfect for families on vacation.
Moonfish:
This restaurant is one of the best known establishments in the area, and diners can choose from fresh seafood and steaks age. In addition, they have sushi, sashimi bar and raw oysters. Whatever you're in the mood for, there is something for you at Moonfish. They have 24 oz. Prime sirloin is delicious intimidatingly huge, fried almonds and lobster tails are delicious. The restaurant is located just minutes from Disney World Theme, so if you're on vacation there, this is just a quick trip away.
The Coquina Chef's Table:
This restaurant offers its visitors a unique experience actually eat in the kitchen. You can sit and watch while the chefs prepare delicious meals prepared and just in front of you. La Coquina offers a 7 course meal that changes every day, and they have a fantastic selection of wines to accompany any meal. This restaurant is a fun place to go to a particular date, as leaders to provide an element of entertainment, although the atmosphere manages to keep a nicely intimate, allowing you to have a quiet conversation as you watch your food to cook.
La Boheme:
Located in the luxury hotel, The Grand Bohemian, this AAA Four Diamond restaurant is the perfect setting for any sort of meal. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and breakfast "power" is a well kept secret residents of Orlando. There is also a jazz brunch on Sunday, which is a fun experience especially (Sunday 10:30 am - 2:30 pm). They also offer a special menu for children, so families are certainly welcome.
Del Frisco:
This renowned steakhouse has become a recognizable name around the country. The family restaurant serves one of the best food in Florida since 1993. Some of the most attractive items are the fresh baked break, lobster tails in Australia, Prime USDA corn-fed beef, and of course, the 6,500 bottles of wine they have in their cellar. Del Frisco's has been voted as "extraordinary" by Zagat in 1997, Best Steakhouse in Orlando by CitySearch in 2009, Maxim Magazine and voted one of the 10 best steak houses in America.
Chef Mickey Mouse
If you are looking for a place to take kids (who has food, you might as well), look no further than Chef Mickey's. Mickey and his gang of friends are all there and the atmosphere is light and happy heart. They suggest booking in advance, especially if you plan to get a party with lots of people. Dinner for adults includes items such as roast chicken, beef carved and food for children, such as macaroni and cheese. There is also a sundae bar, where everyone is sure to enjoy.
